SB SERIES SCREW FED GRANULATORS
Materials are evenly fed into the rotor via feeding screws. This feed method offers several advantages over gravity feeding:
- Higher throughput - as much as 50% more than gravity fed machines with the same size cutting chambers
- Lower power consumption - the same throughput capacity as gravity fed granulators is often possible with 30% to 50% smaller motors
- Can be used for dry or wet operation
- Better quality - because the rotor is evenly balanced there are fewer fines in the regrind
- Reduced noise
- No fly-back
The large feed hopper allows a significant quantity of material to be loaded and automatically conveyed into the granulator.
